Driveline Vibration At 40 Mph

Hi, I have a 1998 subaru outback legacy Standard transmission with 138K miles, that I am experiencing vibration problems with. In your case, at 40 MPH it is not tolerable. It would come in between 38 to 42 and usually goes away at 45. Driveshaft has been replaced 4 times and the Dff once. It becomes apparent when the coaches are driven to their potential [70+ MPH]rather than babied along [55-60 MPH]. I have a vibration in the rear driveline at 40 mph. 55-57 mph instead of 50-60. 27Git is a droning or cyclotronic vibration. One shop said you need to replace your 4X4 universals, so I had that done.
